This package includes:
- Four Full Nights aboard your chosen boat.
- RYA Inland Waterways Helmsman Certificate for 2 people
Learn the essential skills of handling a canal boat under the guidance of a qualified instructor. This course includes both theory and practical training and culminates in the official RYA certificate. - RYA Inland Waterways Crew Certificate for up to 4 people
Ideal for crew members of all ages and abilities, this certificate teaches essential crew skills such as rope work, safety, and lock operation. The number of participants depends on the capacity of the boat booked.

How it works:
- Arrival: On the first day will be 9.00am to load onto your designated boat.
- Days 1-2: Participate in the RYA Helmsman Course, where up to two adults per group can be trained to helm the boat.
- Days 3-4: Set off and enjoy cruising under your own steam, using the skills you’ve gained during training.
- Additional family members aged 10 and over can take part in the RYA Certificated Crewing Course, learning essential crewing skills to support the helm, this is included for up to 4 people.
Note: Course availability and participant limits are subject to the size and layout of the boat hired.
